2-Year Old Preschool Class
The Kinder Prep Academy curriculum is designed to challenge the cognitive abilities of our toddlers, as well as offer opportunities to engage in developmentally appropriate tasks. Throughout the day, toddlers channel their natural curiosity to accomplish tasks related to Movement, Language, and Problem-Solving. To the educated professionals in the class, it all looks like learning. But to the toddlers, it just seems like FUN!
3-Year Old Preschool Class
"What did you say...Imaginitive Play!" Absolutely, and lots of it at this age. The Kinder Prep Academy curriculum allows for traditional learning such as Print Awareness Concepts, Letter/Sound identification, Phonemic Awareness Activites, and Math Foundations, but we learn best through exploration, trial and error, and play. Enrichment activities and occasional field trips will solidify the connection between what happens in "class" and what we experience during "play."
Transitional Kindergarten Class
At Kinder Prep, parents never have to wonder whether or not their child is ready for traditional school. That's because our curriculum is designed to address the standards outlined in the Prekindergarten Guidelines and the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. Parents also receive a customized report detailing levels of mastery for key concepts and skills. But don't worry, the instructors at Kinder Prep will leave the fun. Imaginitive play and field trips continue to be part of the learning. At this stage, we will also offer guidance on how to prepare for larger social settings (a crucial component in your child's academic success).
